At the Bay of Banderas Grupo Mayan guests can go on a whale watching tour to see the majestic humpback whales native to the area. You will not only see humpback whales as the bay is also full of dolphins and manta rays.
- One of our Grupo Mayan guests´ favorite day trips is a trip to the jungle. You will not only see the local wildlife ñ you can get wild yourself with a canopy tour. These tours allow you to strap on a harness and ride a zip line above and through the jungle canopy. When Grupo Mayan guests return from this extreme adventure they vow to return again and again.
- If you have always wanted to swim with the dolphins, now is your chance. Local tour operators will give you a short instructional class and then take you in the waters of the bay to swim with the dolphins and sea lions.
